Reports of visits The Report of the first visit - - The Report of the second visit Second visit to the Egyptian delegation to Denmark Summary of the report with the works of a visit by the delegation of the People council to Denmark (September 2- 8 , 2007) Delegation traveled from Cairo Sunday afternoon 2 September to Copenhagen the capital of Denmark Kingdom , via Vienna, the visiting delegation arrived in Copenhagen Airport, and the delegation has contain Mr. Professor/ Mendwah El Husseini , a member of the People council and agent of Education Committee, and Dr. Mohamed Hammam Zine El Abidine , a member of the People council and The agent of the Education Committee and Dr. / Hamdi Zahran , a member of the People Council and agent of the Committee on Education and Professor / Lutfi Mohammed Ibrahim Othman, a member of the People Council and agent of the Committee on Education and Professor / Abdullah Abu El Ula Marii member of people council and agent of Education Committee, Dr. Jacob Peterson, Director of the Egyptian Danish institution for dialogue and his assistant Professor/ Wafaa Ibrahim, Professor/ Ahmed Mohsen the board chairman of the Egyptian association for dissemination and development of legal awareness, the implemented agency for the project and visit . This visit comes as the second visit in the frame of the program of reciprocal visits between the Egyptian and Danish parliamentarians which contain it the project of " strengthen the communication between the parliament and society" which is supported by the Institute and the association implemented it in agree with the people council, under the auspices of the representative of Council, Dr. Georget Kllini , a member of the People council . It was expected to head a delegation Dr. Sherif Omar, a member of people council and Chairman of the Education Committee, who was not able on travel at the last minute for health reasons, and take his place Professor. Mendwah El Husseini to head the delegation of the Council during the visit . The visit lasted six days . Started from the second day of arrival, where the delegation members visited the Medical Institute in Odense University Hospital of Southern Denmark, where this day was the beginning of the new academic year, and during the visit they discuss the current situation of education in both countries as well as the identification of educational policies followed by Denmark and how to use of the educational systems , also directed the delegation to visit the University of Odense and there was a dialogue between the delegation and the Working Group in the Department of Middle East and therefore to identify on the educational policy in Egypt Where Mr. Mendwah El Husseini spoke in a number of important points are : System and standards of the quality of education which Applied currently in Egypt - -The nationalist trend to improve the income level of teachers. The expansion in private education (university and pre-university).- - Interesting with Al Azhari education and its development . He also commended the German Egyptian experience related to technical education which known as (Mubarak Cole) and then handled the most important challenges facing the educational policy in Egypt : The obligation of the country with the free of education in its various stages- - Population growth and its impact on the intensity of classes and size of students - putting the modern topics and issues in curriculum of education , human rights, environmental awareness, the ability to involve in the labour market - - Development of the practical aspects in curriculums, and its technical requirements (Labs, equipments….) recommendation for implementing of a program is similar to the Mubarak Cole program in cooperation with Denmark . The day was terminated by dinner with Ms. Afaf El Mazareqe the Egyptian Ambassador in Denmark and members of Danish Embassy . On the third day 4 September the parliamentary delegation visited the Ministry of Education in Denmark, the delegation met during the visit with Danish Minister of Education, Mr. Bethel Harder and they have been identified on the Danish education system . With the end of the visit the delegation met with the unity of international cooperation and development in Danish Foreign Ministry, and addressed a working lunch at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, talked about the development of the relationship between the Egyptian and Danish people particularly in the light of the critical situation between the two countries during the crisis of graphics . On the fourth day 5 September The delegation visited a school Nilandsfuj to identify on educational ways which followed it a state like Denmark . Then directed the delegation to the Danish Parliament for a meeting with the Chairman of the Education Committee followed it a tour in the corridors of Parliament Danish been identified during it on the basic system of the specialized committees in the Danish Parliament . With the end of the day handling the members of the delegation the dinner in a restaurant Difolt Jardnz . On the fifth day 6 September the Egyptian delegation visited a Hamlet school in Helsnjur then followed by a visit to the free education school (Valekeldi Hojsnoli) and during the visit the Parliamentary delegation met some young Arabs living in Denmark and spoke about the more problems they faced and how to overcome on them and the impact of last events on them and if the Danish education systems match with them and then the delegation went to the Alf Noor city and met with the Governor of the city, and discussed around the city and systems of technical training in school . The delegation also visited the Danish Institute for assessing the Danish education system there where there is a large leak of the education for the difficulty of curricula despite free education in some sectors as well as the education system is from the jurisdiction of local authority and not Parliament ,the Egyptian delegation has been discussing some educational conditions and for the rest of the day the delegation Enjoy the ambience in Denmark and identify on its landmarks . They finished the day with a dinner in Cap Horn restaurant . The last day was started with a visit to the Danish Institute for evaluating education and for the rest of the day the delegation enjoy the ambience in Denmark and identify on its landmarks .
