What do you know about the project of
Parliament?
Implement
the Egyptian association for the dissemination and development of legal
awareness in collaboration with the Egyptian Danish Institute of
dialogue the project of enhancing the process of parliamentary
communication with society.
- The idea of the project:
The project aims members of
the Egyptian parliament, represented in the committees of health and
education and assigned them to discuss and propose and follow up on all
decision related to the improvement and development of health and
education systems for achieving the direct benefit of the ordinary
citizen.
This is done through the identification on other
successful experiences in Danish Parliament where the association
implemented a two international visits to members of the Egyptian
parliament of the State of Denmark and to exchange experiences and
discuss how to make the decision within the other parliaments and the
extent of benefit from the experiences of others .
It also is building the capacity of representatives of
the specialized committee ,and personnel in it and specially committees
of education and health in addition to the rest of committees, and this
through the implementation of number five training sessions to identify
on the basics of their roles within the committees and how to activate
and this happen based on written approval of the parliament .
The project also works on activating and empowerment the
media cadre from handling parliamentary issues through analytical
thinking contribute to a deeper understanding for the role of the
parliament and its members and broaden the base of public
participation in parliamentary issues and empowering the citizens to
obtain and reach to information which related to the roles and
responsibilities of the Egyptian parliament in general and the specific
two committees in particular .
The objectives of the project :
- Activating and strengthen the role of the specialized
committees in Egyptian parliament .
- empowerment the media from access to information for
strengthening the role of the specialized committees in Egyptian
parliament
- Supporting the process of citizen participation in
parliamentary issues and access to information concerning the Egyptian
parliament and its different committees.

- Organizing two
international visits for the members of the committees of health and
education in cooperation with the Egyptian Foreign Ministry as well as
the Egyptian and Danish embassy and the Egyptian Danish Institute for
dialogue and to exchange experiences and discuss how to make decision .
- Holding a cooperation
protocol between the Association and Parliamentary Studies Center in the
Faculty of Economics and Political Science - Cairo University and this
to implement a training program directed for Members of the technical
secretariat in Egyptian parliament .
- Building the capacity of members of the technical
secretariat in the Egyptian
parliamentary of health and education committees .

- The implementation of a workshop aims providers and
developers of programs and local press in order to empower the
specialized workers in the field of media from understanding the task of
the parliament and empower members of Parliament from carrying out their
functions effectively and responding to the needs of citizens .
