The Egyptian association Implemented the opening Conference for the project empowerment women of their social and political rights in collaboration with participatory development program, attended the conference( Dr. Amani El Tawel ) political expert and director of women program in Al-Ahram Centre for strategic and Political Studies, also attended the conference by number of the interested with civil society, journalists and members of local councils and partner associations**The Egyptian association implemented a training course on building the capacity of the teamwork of supporting women in partner associations with the project of women empowerment from their social and political rights of both Giza and Beni Suef, from 27 December until 1 January, 2008**The Egyptian association will held a training course for two days will implement by a group of female lawyers who gained trainer skills , to train 25 lawyer on the importance of political public and participation especially, how to activate their role within the women's committees in syndicate and activate their role in decision-making in sub syndicate and this in frame of implementing the project to activate the role of the female lawyers in public work**Also the Association will held a workshop in the period from 12January until 13 January aims the local council members and how to prepare and implement a futuristic plans for women's participation in the next local elections **The association lunched the first electronic page about the parliament on special electronic site for the parliament prepared by the association

Report of the first training course for personnel in parliamentary committees :

The topic of workshop: contemporary parliamentary systems and policies-making .-

- The place of workshop : the Faculty of Economics and Political Science - Cairo University.

The Implementation date : the period from 10 to12 July, 2007 .-

- Participants : Number eighteen participants from personnel in parliamentary committees in people council .

The contents of the report -

The report handled the contemporary parliamentary systems and policy-making through the period from 10 -12 July 2007 and included a presentation of workshops and proposals of personnel in committees in the framework of work towards enhancing the process of parliamentary communication .

The report aimed what has been presented during the training workshop in terms of working papers and suggestions of participants and recommendations of the workshop with regard to the role of parliamentary committees and mechanisms of its development and ways to communicate with the public which leading us in the end to enhance the process of parliamentary communication with the society

The first training workshop

Holding The Egyptian Association for the dissemination and development of legal awareness the first training course at Cairo University during the period from 10 July, 2007 until 12 July, 2007 with participation a number 18 (youth / girls), representing personnel in the number of 11 parliamentary committee and divided in terms of gender to 10 youth and 8 girls where the association has been designed the training program on three days during it activate the training article through open debate and action groups managed it 7 of academics Professors of university who are /
