As a result of joint cooperation between the U.S Agency for International Development in Egypt ( USAID) and the Egyptian Association for Dissemination and Development of Legal Awareness( EADDLA )

 EADDLA has been organized a workshop under title " building capacities of the female members of the local people's councils" in frame of project  " activating the Egyptian women's role within the elected legislative entities " , the workshop  included around 25 – 30 female member & aimed activating the role of female deputies within their communities; as well , empowering them of using the regulatory tools and overcome constraints on the work within the Council.

 

To find a new formulation of the role of civil society organizations working in the field of education

The Egyptian Association for Dissemination and Development of Legal Awareness (EADDLA ) has been hold in cooperation with the Danish Egyptian for Dialogue Institute (DEDI)  the second workshop to complete the second phase of project " strengthen the process of parliamentary communication with society " under title " to find a new formulation of the role of civil society institutions working in the field of education "aimed at the directors in the departments of education ministry ; as well , members of education committee in people council and representatives of NGO's working in this field.

to discuss problems faced by civil society organizations working in the field of education and the role of the Committee of Education in the People's Council in the face of these problems and work to find solutions, and in the framework of this activity; EAADLA had been held its first workshop on Wednesday, and it was on the health problems in Egypt and the role of civil society organizations working in the field of health; as well , the committee of health in people council.

It is known about the Egyptian Association for Dissemination and Development of Legal Awareness ( EADDLA ) that it stand on the strengths and weaknesses points to evaluate its activities; in this context , EADDLA held a workshop to training the members and the personnel in technical secretariats of people council  on the issues of parliament and democratic transition , the relation between the parliament and civil society and how to strengthen the process of parliamentary communication with society. EADDLA has hold The workshop in cooperation with the Danish Egyptian for Dialogue Institute ( DEDI ) & the center of researches and political studies at the Faculty of Economic and Political Sciences ( FEPS) – Cairo University.

The Egyptian Association for Dissemination and Development of Legal Awareness ( EADDLA) has hold in cooperation with the Danish Egyptian for Dialogue Institute ( DEDI ) a workshop for personnel in the health & education committee to training them on how to deal with the representatives of media and enable them to access to correct information ; the workshop attended by number 24 researchers of personnel in the technical secretariats at people council and lasted from the period of 19 to 21 October, 2008 .
